Abstract Submission

Abstracts for posters relating to ESSENCE, reporting new, previously unpublished research findings are welcomed. Accepted posters will be displayed during and after the Poster Session held on Day 1 and it is expected that at least one of the authors will be present at the Poster Stand for the duration of the Poster Session to answer questions.

Abstract submission guidelines

Abstracts will be selected by the Programme Committee for poster presentations.

Publication
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Final programme/Abstract book, on condition that the presenting author is registered for the congress and has paid the registration fee.

Submission instructions

  • Abstracts should be submitted electronically no later than September 5 / 2017 EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 30
  • Abstracts cannot be submitted by fax, hard copy or e-mail.
  • Acknowledgement of receipt of the submission will be sent to the stated e-mail address. If you do not receive the confirmatory e-mail within 24 hours, please contact us at: essence@meetx.se
  • The presenting author will receive all correspondence concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing co-authors of the status of the abstract.
  • The presenting author will have access to the abstract after submission through online Personal Page.
  • Notification on acceptance of the abstracts will be sent to the stated e-mail address by (or before) September 31.

Abstract instructions

  • Abstracts must be written in English.
  • Maximum 1400 characters (including spaces and excluding title and contact information on authors).
  • The abstract should be structured with the subheadings Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Subheadings should be in bold followed by colon (Objectives:)
  • It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract; any errors in spelling, grammar, or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author, if accepted.

Personal Page
Once your abstract is submitted you can follow the progress online by entering your Personal Page.

Your Personal Page makes it possible for you to:
– make changes until submission deadline ( September 30 / 2017)
– read and print your abstract

You will be able to access your Personal Page for abstracts by entering your unique user ID and password indicated in the attached file received in the confirmatory email after submission.
